APPROACH

Creating Added Value

We approach all our projects through a process of understanding, engaging, and creating, which together we call ‘Placemaking’.

We operate within RIBA stages 1-3, working from inception, which includes the preparation of a clear and coherent brief, conceptual design, testing layouts and detailed developed design for planning applications.

This involves site visits and the understanding of a sites' constraints, engaging with clients, stakeholders and local planning authorities, and creating well-informed layouts that provide a real sense of place.

Understanding

Understanding a place is fundamental to creating successful places. We do this through the process of analysis, understanding a site’s constraints as well as understanding the surrounding context.

Engaging

Engaging stakeholders, understanding the client’s needs and collaborating with like-minded professionals helps to create a shared vision that all can take ownership of.

Creating

Creating a place starts with a clear vision and concept that is built from the analysis and understanding of the area. Physically designing spaces between buildings as well as the buildings that define them creates a sense of place.
